It has been quite awhile since I've written a journal entry so here it goes. As I said in my last entry I was getting my portfolio together for OCAD so that happened and I have been accepted for their Bachelor of Design for Illustration program and will be starting in September 2015 :3 I have a new job and I have ordered my Ryuko cosplay and wig and hopefully those will arrive before Anime North because the shipping times for the items is cutting it close. I will be making my scissor blade with the help of my boyfriend so that is starting next week and I will take progress photos of that and yeah things have been going good, will be posting another update probably after Anime North cx

I wonder if anyone reads my journal entries or if I'm just talking to myself :/ anyways another update from my last entry. I'll start with cosplay first, so I got some supplies for Ryuko's scissor blade and all I need is spray paint and contact cement then I can start to build it which brings me to the next update about work. I just started a 15 week program where I get paid to work 4 days a week and receive training in retail, CPR, budgeting, etc and receive a bonus for completing the program. After the program wherever I'm working will hopefully hire me after but the point is that I'll finally be getting money so I can order my Ryuko cosplay! As for art I'm really trying to motivate myself to finish a painting of mine and start another painting but I've been finding myself not interested lately in finishing or creating anything I hope that I'll over come that soon. I got my Halloween costume and its so awesome!! I ordered the wig and thigh highs online so I will be receiving them sometime next week and I'll post my costume because it can be used as a cosplay as well. I'll be wearing my costume for 3 Halloween parties I'm going to on the 24th, 25th, 31st xD I think that is everything I wanted to update on so be on a look out for an upload soon!

I'm gonna post some really good and mostly just my favourite pictures that I got at Anime North this year later when I get home (which I've done already but w/e) I'll just talk about my experience this year, this years AN was just amazing mostly because I had money to buy a lot of awesome things but also because of the cosplays and the panels that I got to go to this year like Lolita beauty tips, fan to pro, pokemon cooking etc. I also went to Cafe Delish this year for that  maid experience and I'm so glad I did because it was so worth it they danced for us, we played games, and they drew little kawaii faces on our roll cakes and got a free button. I went to the photobooth as well to get a picture with one of the maids. AN also made me realize that I really like Lolitas so I'm gonna do some research about that :3. I didnt stay for any of the raves this year sadly due to the fact of how tired I became xD I got to take my professional camera this year and got some amazing pictures. Over great experience once again and I cant wait til next year because of AN I also got introduced to another convention called Atomic Lollipop which is in August so super excited for that

Been forever since I wrote a journal and cant remember what to update about but I went to and Of Mice and Men concert last night at the Toronto show I met Of Mice & Men and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. Austin was just so adorable and super sweet he said "You don't get to meet me without a hug first!" and I promised that I'd get a video for my friends but he said that he doesn't do videos anymore but he was more than happy to at least sign the back of the poster. Tino was just awesome and so cheerful, he noticed my Lakeshore hat and said that he grew up there and I just froze and smiled and he just smiled and said "Cool eh?" and I just said "Haha yeah!" omfg Aaron I swear such good tight hugs and he's so adorable and Phil photobombed the picture XD Phil was wearing a coat too because he was cold. Alan was just being a ginger prince and he was super sweet and his hug was so nice :3 he also twerked outside the window xD despite the freezing weather it was definitely worth it! I also met Capture The Crown and got a signed poster + photos :3 Of Mice & Men I got a VIP laminate, early entry, signed shirt and poster + photos

Omg Anime North was fucking awesome!!! Best weekend ever!! I cosplayed as a female Matt from Death Note. It sucked though cause my cosplay was last minute but I'm already planning for next year xD lol anyways I was a Weekend Otaku so I was there all 3 days and Friday kinda sucked cause me and my best friend had to wait in line for 2 hours to get our passes so our legs hurt for the rest of the day so we just tried to find where we wanted to go and bought some merch. Saturday/Sunday we bought more merch and the workshops we wanted to go to were full so we just walked around got pictures, had a little dance party around 2:00 and at night we went to Otakabaloo which was that parking lot rave :3 fucking awesome! My legs hurt so much after all the dancing xD. We went to a Bleach panel and I didnt even like Bleach that much until that panel so I gotta catch up on my anime now and also a Lolita/Kimono/Steampunk/other one that I can't remember fashion show which was amazing and went to a Marker workshop and a Fire/Water Bending class and went to buy more merch then the closing ceremonies on Sunday which was so sad because now I have to wait for next year but man I had such a great time, met awesome people, saw some amazing cosplay and most importantly made awesome memories :')
